Which bouquet you choose?

Today I want to dedicate this article to one of the most significant details on the wedding day: the bouquet. During my work I was able to see how many options are available for choosing flowers or materials used for their creation.

Not many people know that bouquet is born in the earliest times. Today we are used to imagine it as something sumptuous and elegant, but it really is born as a small bunch of aromatic herbs like garlic and thyme, able to keep away the evil from the new family. After the ceremony, the bouquet was offered to the gods, as they are still married to many religions.

The flowers are inserted in the first centuries after Christ, when the lily takes on the meaning of purity. Only in the Middle Ages, however, you can begin to see the most extravagant and sumptuous bouquets, packed with objects symbolizing marriage. It is thanks to the Arabs, who in the fifteenth century are exported to Europe, the tradition of orange flowers used to decorate their wedding dresses.

Today, the bouquet has clearly become a key element not only in completing the look of the bride, but also reflecting the theme of marriage. So, what flowers and colors do you choose?

For a romantic wedding, it is good to combine the colors of pastel pink to a white candy, perhaps choosing roses or simple calleas, accompanied by narcissus. Symbol of beauty and harmony is the orchid, used in China as a typical gift of love, in its purple colors encloses the physical and spiritual bond of lovers. Couples who love daring, instead, aim at the shades of red or orange: an example might be the red tulip used to symbolize wealth and power in Persia. For those who love freedom, wheat ears can be used as a symbol of fertility or field flowers. The new fashion, however, goes against current. Accustomed to seeing the green in the background, today becomes the first color. The bouquets are filled with fatty plants, ivy and scented aromatic herbs.

In short, do not be afraid and dare, because your personality will be represented just by your bouquet.
